Product Development:
Specification and Translation:
Share schematics for artwork development when required by style design.
Review and translate product specifications, comments, and Bill of Materials (BOM) into Vietnamese.
Sample Planning and Execution:
Prepare samples and documentation for on- site meetings.
Collaborate with technical teams, cross- functional teams, Material team, and Nike to establish fabric engineering artwork and position tolerances for production.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on testing results, processes, and alternative techniques (e.g., bonding, seam processes, snaps, grommets).
Develop and manage sample plans for timely submission.
Update the season style list management dashboard.
Track sample orders and work with production to re- plan delivery schedules due to material impacts.
Create and update oversketches for sharing with functional departments.
Consolidate information and Critical- to- Quality (CTQ) requirements from cross- functional teams, and work with Nike to verify, clarify, and address workmanship tolerances.
Review and verify documentation for costing and prepare Pre- Cost Breakdowns (CBD).
Consolidate information from product meetings and share it with cross- functional teams for future production follow- up.
Prepare style details for seasonal product walk- throughs.
Review, fit, and provide feedback on samples.
Create and maintain style history forms for all departments to document progress and comments.
Sample Order Management:
Manage sample orders (Prototypes, Production/ISR, KAMP/GTM, etc.).
Update sample submission status in the general tracking chart to calculate KPIs for sample turnaround time and prototype approval rates.
Update and book sample production capacity with Planning on a weekly basis.
Track sample order progress and work with Production, Planning, and Shipping to re- plan delivery schedules due to material impacts.
Monitor material status and delivery schedules, working with the Purchasing team to address impacts on sample delivery dates.
Buy- Ready Preparation:
Review weekly burst reports to prepare for buy- ready schedules.
Coordinate and lead style construction handover meetings with cross- functional teams, sharing samples, mock- ups, and supporting documentation for the bulk production stage
Share handover recaps and track pending actions until buy- ready and production release.
