Product Analyst

Report to: Senior Product and Formulation Specialist

Job Responsibility: The Product Analyst (PA) provides technical expertise on performing laboratory tests under the scope of services of Bloom. Global Food and Beverage Innovation Center. He/She also manages ALL data based related to testing services and product shelf- life studies.
Duties will include and not be limited to:

Review ingredient performance, nutritional profiles, conduct testing on prototypes and providing feedback on formulation stability and shelf life.
Responsible in performing routine and specialized tests (including physico – chemical, biological and Sensory) necessary for new product development activities.
Prepare and maintain laboratory consumables inventory management system.
Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and calibration standards. Perform and monitor calibration protocol and/or program for ALL equipment in the Laboratory.
Perform any other duties or projects as assigned from time to time.
Recording, analyzing, and interpreting test results to prepare detailed reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
Provides support on sensory activities for stakeholders.
Preparing and handling various samples, specimens, or materials for testing.

Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Chemistry and other related courses.
Good organization and documentation skills.
Can speak and communicate in English. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices, Food Safety and regulatory standards (HACCP, GMP, local regulations).
Ability to multitask with organization and manage time effectively.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations, statistical analyses, and data interpretation.
Preferably with at least 1 year of experience in food laboratory and/or food manufacturing .
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
