Process Engineer

Utilize data to identify top issues/obstacles and be able to calculate Impact and Effort of a proposed solution or analytical comparison of multiple solutions.
Analyze production capacity and scalability through Value Stream Mapping and other modeling techniques.
Lead proactive discovery efforts focused on identifying hidden inefficiencies or wastes.
Provide expertise in engineering tools to evaluate capability of existing processes and investigate recurring issues (Six Sigma, DMAIC, DOE, Root Cause Analysis, Gage R&R, etc.).
Review process control procedures and Key Performance Indicators to drive improvements upstream and reduce waste and inefficiency.
Collect and analyze data to ensure processes function at optimum cost, quality, and capacity.
Lead or support cross- functional teams that are hyper- focused on solving a critical problem, identifying short- term and long- term corrective actions.
Manage and execute projects; must be able to plan and lead projects, develop timelines, communicate status to stakeholders and follow through on commitments.
Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing systems that optimize all phases of the production process.
Work closely with Operations, Quality and Engineering to develop and implement solutions to process- related problems.

Required Experience:

Experience finding creative solutions to complex problems.

Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously as priorities can change very quickly.

3- 5 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, or other related roles in a manufacturing environment.

Experience working with or leading cross- functional teams on projects.

Experience using data to identify issues.

Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.

Project Management certification or training.

Six Sigma certification or training.
