JOB PURPOSE
The SAP ERP Data Backfill Test Specialist to support our upcoming data backfill project. This position is essential in ensuring that accurate data is integrated into our SAP ERP system, maintain data integrity and operational efficiency.
The SAP ERP Data Backfill Test Specialist will be responsible for performing comprehensive testing of data backfill processes within our SAP ERP system.
This role will involve collaborating with cross- functional teams to identify data requirements, execute test cycles, and validate the accuracy of data backfill
MAIN DUTIES
Reporting: Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders; recommend process improvements based on testing outcomes.
Data Validation: Conduct thorough validation of backfilled data against predefined criteria and business requirements, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify and log defects or discrepancies in data; work closely with data migration teams to ensure prompt resolution.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test results, defects, and testing processes to support audits and future testing efforts.
Execution of Test Cycles: Execute test cases and document results meticulously to ensure the integrity of data backfilled into SAP ERP.
Testing Strategy Development: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing strategies, objectives, and criteria for successful data backfill.
Collaboration: Coordinate with data owners, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure alignment on data requirements and facilitate efficient testing processes.
Test Planning: Create and document test plans, including test cases, test scripts, and test data requirements for backfill cycles.
