PHP Backend Developer

Responsibilities

Ensure data security and privacy across the application.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
Collaborate with front- end developers to integrate front- end elements with server- side logic.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including product, design, and DevOps.
Develop, test, and deploy new features and updates to our applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and security.
Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP- based backend systems and APIs.
Maintain code quality through code reviews and unit testing.
Stay up- to- date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development.

Requirements

Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
Experience with caching, session management, and security best practices (e.g., SQL injection prevention, CSRF protection).
Good understanding of front- end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for seamless integration with back- end services.
Understanding of OOP (Object- Oriented Programming) principles.
Knowledge of unit testing and test- driven development (TDD).
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks like Laravel
Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
Experience with version control tools, preferably Git.
Proven experience as a PHP Backend Developer or similar role.

Nice- to- Have

Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and cloud services (AWS)
Experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
Basic knowledge of front- end frameworks like Vue.js
