Overview of the Role
The PFS Business Management Head is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, operational efficiency, and overall business performance of the Personal Financial Services (PFS) division at UOB Vietnam. This role will drive key initiatives, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure the achievement of business objectives while adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution:
• Develop and implement strategic business plans for the PFS division in alignment with UOB Vietnam&039;s overall corporate strategy.
• Identify market opportunities and competitive threats, proposing innovative solutions and strategies to enhance business growth and market share.
• Drive the execution of key business initiatives, projects, and product launches within PFS, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
Performance Management & Reporting:
• Prepare comprehensive business performance reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future outlook.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the PFS division, analyzing performance trends and recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Manage the PFS budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Oversee the operational efficiency of PFS processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to enhance customer experience and productivity.
• Lead and participate in cross- functional projects aimed at streamlining operations and improving service delivery.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
• Communicate business strategies, objectives, and performance updates effectively to the PFS team and senior management.
• Act as a key liaison between the PFS division and other internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Product, Technology, Risk, Operations).
• Foster strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies as required.
Team Leadership & Development:
• Mentor and develop team members, identifying training needs and opportunities for professional growth.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the PFS business management team, fostering a high- performance culture.
