PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Support Asset Management (Solar) in the monitoring of operations and optimization of performance of solar assets.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performance Monitoring & Analysis
- Benchmark system performance and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Monitor the performance of solar PV plants in Vietnam using SCADA and other monitoring platforms.
- Prepare daily and monthly operation reports and periodic analysis reports as required.
- To monitor all system fault alarms and inform operations team, ensuring timely response and resolution.
- Track and analyze performace data which inclues performance ratio, energy yields and irradiation data of assets.
System Troubleshooting & Optimization
- Familiarization with PVsyst simulations (including shading and degradation analysis), tracking of IV curves
- Support on- site troubleshooting for assets in collaboration with the O&M team.
Cross- Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Finance to support billing and yield tracking, ensuring alignment between technical performance and commercial metrics.
- Work closely with the O&M team to minimize faults and optimize performace of assets.
- Participate in technical meetings with clients, providing insights and recommendations to optimize system operation.
- Engage with solar team members in other countries and regions for knowledge sharing and technical support as required.
Innovation & Technical Development
- Evaluate new technologies, component brands, and specifications for performance and reliability.
- Contribute ideas and innovative solutions to enhance energy yield and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends, including new technologies, innovations, and market developments.
