OPM Senior Project Engineer

Project Management
Responsible for the project management of new product development and variants of the current production lines for Sonion Vietnam. Will work closely with the project team globally to drive innovation, optimize time to market, product quality and design for manufacturability.

Responsible for project development and implementation of new product variants of the current lines.

Manages and assesses project team members including allocation of responsibilities and tasks to achieve the high- quality project result.

Compile project plans for assigned projects and coordinate project team meetings.
Monitor and control progress of projects to provide technical oversight and ensure that application of engineering principles is used.
Participate in the development process for assigned projects with focus on project budget management, resource allocation, time to market, design for manufacturability and product quality.
Work closely with project teams to define solutions and alternatives for Manufacturability, Assembly, Inspections, etc.
Manages project risk evaluation and completion of deliverables according to SDM (Sonion Development Methodology).
Regularly updates on project status to senior management, the project team, and stakeholders.

Education:

Preferable: Master’s degree
Required: University degree, Technical, Engineering, Mechanics

Knowledge of computer servicing: Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Project)

Professional experience:

Mandatory: At least 2 years equivalent experience within Sonion or at least 3 years in a similar position of Project Management / Production / Product Design in a technical working area.
Prefered: 5 years experience or more in Project Management / Production / Product Design in a technical working area.
