JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
Flex into backend engineering tasks when necessary
Tackle ambitious projects with uncertain outcomes and break down large problems into smaller tasks with measurable deliverables
Own development of core technologies powering avatars, image and video creator
Staying up to date with latest developments in AI, especially in the areas of AI avatars,
Ensuring that our software systems are scalable, reliable, and maintainable
Optimize inference stack for both latency and cost efficiency
multimodal language models, foundation models in image generation, video generation, and 3d spatial understanding.
Requirements
Passion about building in generative AI, and a desire to deliver immersive AI experiences to the end user
Interest in ML systems, optimizing performance of complex AI workflows
Comfortable working with open source tools (ComfyUI, stable- diffusion- webui, kohya- ss) and maintain expertise in the latest developments in Diffusion Transformers (DiTs), Flow Matching, and Latent Video Diffusion.
Previous background in AI (2+ years) and solid understanding of deep learning and computer vision fundamentals
Monitor and implement advancements in the Chinese open- source ecosystem (e.g. Kling, CogVideo, Flux)
Excellent problem- solving skills and attention to detail
Experience working with generative AI workflows, especially in the image/video generation space
