Ocean Pricing and Procurement Supervisor/ Freight Forwarding Industry

Main tasks:
· Involve in con- meetings with regional OF if needed.
· Quote the buying rates to overseas agents’ ocean freight inquiries & follow to have their feedback/results.
· Provide the buying rates to local sales team’s ocean freight inquiries within agreed timeline & follow to have their feedback/results.
· Contribute to the pricing & procurement strategy with initiatives & solutions which enhance service delivery to customers.
· To provide support to products operative regarding market situation and rate level.
· Focus on the vendor management and assure that all vendors can be kept at good performance as per company required.
· Provide the Net buying rates to BD team for tender & RFQ requests.
· Other tasks assigned by Manager.
· Manage agreement contracts with vendors to be accurate, up- to- date, and aligned with company’s audit objectives.
· Co- operate with operation teams to support all issues relating to pricing & procurement, ensuring high- quality service to clients.
· Engage in negotiation with carriers and suppliers to secure competitive rates, services that align with customer’s requirements.
· Prepare the regular reports on pricing and procurement if needed.
· Keep up to date with market fluctuations, market insights to have proper pricing planning.
· Maintain good relationships with carriers and vendors to ensure reliable & cost- effective services.
To do report:
· To create and help evaluate reports on internal KPI’s
· To report in a timely manner the monthly sales numbers

Required years of professional experience:
· Can communicate in English
· Graduated University/ College, from 3 years’ experience in Ocean Pricing (Logistic)
