The Night Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all Front Office operations during the night shift, ensuring smooth guest service delivery, operational efficiency, security compliance, and accurate daily financial closing procedures. The role serves as the primary point of contact for guests and departments during overnight hours, maintaining the highest standards of hospitality consistent with a luxury hotel environment.
Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Security
Respond effectively to guest inquiries, concerns, and emergency situations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations.
Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and grooming standards.
Act as the Duty Manager during overnight hours when required.
Coordinate with Security, Engineering, and Housekeeping teams to address operational issues.
Perform night audit procedures and ensure accuracy of daily financial transactions.
Operational Management
Monitor room status, room inventory, and occupancy levels to maximize revenue opportunities.
Handle VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure cash handling procedures comply with company policies.
Monitor hotel security procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
Build positive relationships with guests and encourage repeat business.
Prepare and distribute daily reports, including occupancy, revenue, arrivals, departures, and incident reports.
Conduct night shift briefings and ensure proper handover to the morning team.
Verify guest accounts, room charges, and revenue postings.
Supervise Front Desk Agents, Bell Attendants, and other night- shift team members.
Guest Service Excellence
Supervise and coordinate all Front Office activities during the night shift.
Leadership & Team Management
Ensure efficient check- in, check- out, room allocation, and guest registration processes.
Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment.
Financial & Administrative Duties
Ensure hotel standards and brand service requirements are consistently met.
Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction through proactive service and personalized attention.

Strong knowledge of Front Office operations and night audit procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with PMS systems such as Opera, Fidelio, or similar hotel management software.
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
Bachelor&039;s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Minimum 2–3 years of Front Office experience in a 4- star or 5- star hotel, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong problem- solving and decision- making abilities.
