Identify hazards within the plant and propose control measures to management to prevent accidents and incidents.
Draft policies, procedures, forms, and regulations on environment, occupational safety, hygiene, fire prevention, and accident prevention.
Stay updated on the latest state laws and regulations on occupational safety and environmental hygiene.
Investigate the causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions in the workplace.
Manage all types of waste, identify and control environmental aspects, and ensure compliance with environmental laws.
Supervise and ensure wastewater discharges meet regulatory standards before release.
Coordinate with other departments to create a safe working environment, in compliance with governmental Occupational Safety standards and company regulations.
Report operational results to management and internal stakeholders.
Develop periodic training plans on Occupational Safety & Hygiene for employees.
Prepare periodic safety and environmental reports for submission to authorities as required by law.
Organize appraisal and acceptance of safety conditions, fire prevention and firefighting (PPE), safety- critical equipment, personal protective gear, materials, and new technological processes.
Carry out safety inspections, handle violations, and monitor corrective actions with departments.
Monitor work safety, ensuring zero workplace accidents across the facility.
Conduct internal audits related to occupational safety and environmental compliance across the facility.
Oversee all occupational health, safety, and environmental matters for the entire plant.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Implement policies and regulations to reduce and prevent pollution and other environmental initiatives.
Manage all documents and records related to occupational safety and the environment at the plant.

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
Proficiency in all four English language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
