Middle/Senior Data Tester

Test Planning
- Control task, timeline and proactively report if problems occurs
- Understand data requirements, workflows, and processes to define comprehensive testing scope
- Create test plans, test cases, test data and create SQL to validate data quality, data logic and integrity data.
Test Execution
- Test large datasets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different platforms and service(e.g., SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
- Conduct Regression Testing on updated ETL and existing ETL to identify any possible impacts caused by changes
- Support the development team in troubleshooting and resolving data- related issues
- Work closely with data engineers, business analyst, test team ... to understand data models and data requirements
- Execute both of manual and automated tests for database
- Perform testing of data migrations, data transformations, and integration to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Validate data sets, reports, and dashboards to confirm that data aligns with business rules and expectations.
Defect Management
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analyst to resolve identified issues
- Identify, document, and track data quality issues and defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
- Assist in preparing and delivering reports on progress of testing services for squad and tribe leads
Automation
- Develop automated test scripts using tools like Python, SQL, or other data testing frameworks to reduce manual efforts

Yêu cầu công việc

- Having experience in querying data using: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL server, Oracle, ...
- At least 1 year experience in Data testing
- Having experience in Test Management tool and Defect Management tool (Jira, TestLink, Trello, TestRail,...)
- Having basic knowledge on ETL process, Data Warehouse and Big Data
- Good analyzing skill
- At least 2- 5 year experience in software development project
- Good communication sand team work skill
- Experienced in working with systems that integrate a minimum of 3 subsystems or more
Nice to have:
- Experienced in managing a team of 3- 5 testers for a minimum period of 6 months
- Experience in Cloud Data Platform (AWS, Azure, GCP,...)
- Achieve Testing Certificate (ISTQB Foundation, ISTQB Advanced level...)
- Experience in at least one programming language (Python is a plus)
