Middle Data Engineer Python/ SQL/ Cloud/ Azure

Ensure data availability, reliability, and cost- efficiency
Design, build, and operate modern data infrastructure on the Azure Cloud platform, focusing on Data Lakehouse architecture to support data storage, processing, and analytics for products, AI systems, and business operations.

Work with infrastructure teams to operate secure data systems, adhering to security protocols and internal regulations.
Collaborate with AI, BI, and DevOps teams to integrate data into analytics applications, machine learning models, or intelligent reporting systems.
Design and implement Data Lakehouse architecture on Azure using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake, Azure Synapse, or Databricks.
Write technical documentation and support knowledge transfer and operations for product and analytics teams.
Implement data quality checks, metadata management, and data lineage processes.
Develop data processing pipelines (ETL/ELT) from various sources (on- premise, cloud, streaming, APIs, files, etc.).
Optimize the performance of large- scale data storage and query systems (big data), ensuring cost- effectiveness and scalability.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or equivalent role.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Experience in implementing data infrastructure on Azure Cloud, with preference for proficiency in:
Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks
Azure Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, or Apache Kafka
Experience with data models such as Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Lakehouse Architecture, or Delta Lake.
Preference for candidates with experience in large- scale data systems, real- time pipelines, or AI/ML model integration.
Proficient in SQL, Python, or PySpark, with a strong understanding of distributed computing.

Ability to work independently, proactively, and with a systematic mindset.
Strong collaboration skills with other technical teams (AI, DevOps, Product).
Openness to learning new technologies, adapting to change, and experimenting.
Logical thinking, strong analytical, and problem- solving skills.

Working Hours:
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, or off if weekly tasks are completed in advance
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Lunch break: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM)
Overtime may be required depending on work demands and will be compensated with time off on another day in the week.
