Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Mid- Level DevOps Engineer with 2- 5 years of experience, specializing in AWS Cloud services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the scalability and security of our applications. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline our deployment processes and optimize system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
● Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
● Security: Ensure the security of the cloud environment by implementing best practices, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and security groups.
● Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases.
● Automation: Identify opportunities for automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
● Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents and outages in a timely manner, including root cause analysis and post- mortem documentation.
● Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize the performance of cloud resources and applications, including cost management and resource scaling.
● Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and troubleshoot issues proactively.
● Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage and automate cloud resources.
● CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, testing, and delivery processes.

● Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other languages for automation purposes.
● Version Control: Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
● Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
● Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
● CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or AWS CodePipeline.
● Security: Knowledge of AWS security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM) and network security.
● Experience: 2- 5 years of hands- on experience in DevOps, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
● Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams.
● Problem- Solving: Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a cloud environment.
● AWS Proficiency: Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and other AWS technologies.
