* Development Merchandiser position:
- Initiate and finalize wash/dyeing processes for assigned styles.
- Book sample room capacity for each season/Customer; follow up on testing & TOP samples per customer timelines.
- Conduct risk analysis with the team; initiate tests for product performance; escalate risks or challenges as needed.
- Procure raw materials on time and to required quality standards to support sample development.
- Verify Purchase Orders before sending to Printing/Embellishment Plants; follow up on invoices for payment.- Other tasks as assigned by manager.
- Finalize costing for assigned styles, ensuring accuracy on cost sheets before sending to the data team.
- Coordinate with Suppliers, Customers, and internal teams to quote competitive prices within deadlines.
- Download, update, and maintain all development documents from Customers and Suppliers to meet required outcomes.
- Review and clarify information with Customers if needed, then distribute to relevant departments.
- Develop fabrics, trims, lab dips, and samples per customer expectations, ensuring timely submission.
* Operations Merchandiser:
- Take over the order allocation chart from the Development team, including style numbers, delivery dates, colors, prices, and TNA, to coordinate with Buyers for timely Purchase Orders (PO).
- Ensure sales orders are properly closed and processed on time after shipment.
- Verify Customers&039; POs against cost sheets for quality, color, price, ratio, and delivery date; update the system with accurate information.
- Track vessel bookings and shipments weekly; gather necessary information to update Customers.
- Update PSR/PICR/WIP weekly; communicate order status to Customers promptly and accurately.
- Follow up with Development Merchandiser and Procurement to ensure On- Time Tracking (OTT) targets are met.
- Collect relevant information from merchandisers to prepare Quality Assurance files for Pre- production (PP) meetings; ensure complete approvals and information are ready.
- Attend Capacity Meetings; monitor order status weekly; highlight risks or TNA delays that could impact delivery.
- Arrange garments or fabrics for bulk testing as required by Customers, ensuring no impact on shipment dates.
