Mô tả công việc

• To make daily inspection of the area of responsibility to ensure that all areas meet the standards of the establishment laid down by the Management.
• To follow up on all guests’ requests and ensure that guest’s expectation is always being met.
• To make personal visit to the guest when sick and offer assistance.
• To check on the service ability of all equipment.
• Must be familiar with all policies and procedures relating in the department.
• To supervise the daily operations of the Housekeeping and ensure that they run smoothly and consistently.
• To prepare performance appraisals periodically for each staff
• To check par stocks of linen, guest supplies and cleaning supplies in each area periodically to ensure that there is no over storage nor any shortage of such items.
• To schedule general cleaning for the whole hotel&039;s public areas.
• To coordinate with other departments regarding special instructions or requests and report to Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
• Must follow any policies or procedures laid down by management.
• To report to Assistant Executive Housekeeper any disciplinary action required.
• To handle all staff request and all personnel matter i.e. change of day- off etc.
• To supervise preparation of maintenance requirements and follow up to ensure that all guestrooms do not deteriorate from standard.
• To liaise with Security department on security aspects on guest rooms.
• To Prepare and schedule the daily special tasks assigned to supervisors and floor attendants to ensure they do and maintaine effectively and efficiently.
• To utilize and develop the communication tools and channels for dissemination of information and workflow in the department.
• To check, report and ensure Emergency and safety hazards are removed, handled and reported for remedial action.
• To ensure that all preventive maintenance and general cleaning programmes /schedules are in place and executed accordingly.
• To coordinate with Room Attendants with regard to special instructions such as extra beds, cribs, cross mattresses etc.
• To prepare schedule and supervise all cleaning program for carpets, windows, chandeliers, marble, brass, etc. in accordance with the procedure lay down.
• To instruct on careful handling of furniture, the use of supplies with particular emphasis on proper quantities, care of walls, floors, carpet and light fixtures, removal of furniture and using trucks and ladders, care and cleanliness of tools and utensils, and stripping of all types of rooms.
• To supervise and be responsible for cleanliness, tidiness and appearance of the entire hotel.
• To coordinate closely with contractors regarding pest control and plants.
• Takes inventories of equipment, cleaning supplies and plants.
• To fill out all required reports completely at the end of each day and month.
• To train and supervise all staff to perform the standard procedures as applicable to their job position.
• To be in the hotel in the case of emergency.
• To receive and investigate queries and complaints from hotel guests, management, front office, etc. and report to Assistant Executive Housekeeper
• To report illness and irregular behavior of guests or staff and any other unusual occurrence to Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
• To determine any training needs and analyze recommendations for incentive awards to all staff according to their performance appraisals.
• To be trained on Fire and other Emergency procedures in case of situation arises to provide safety for both guests and associates.
• To follow up with the Engineering department on all outstanding work orders.
• To crete a positive and highly motivated working environment that promotes and develops team work.
• Carried out other duties assigned by Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Dir. of Housekeeping.

- 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Cost controlling, manning controlling
- Skilled in managing and working in a team.
- Good English skill
