We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Content Advisor to join our growing team. The role is ideal for candidates with a strong scientific background and a passion for clear, precise communication. The Medical Content Advisor will be responsible for developing high- quality written medical content across a variety of healthcare and pharmaceutical materials, ensuring both scientific accuracy and audience engagement.
The ideal candidate is detail- oriented, collaborative, flexible, and skilled at translating complex medical information into clear and impactful messages tailored to healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development (30%)
Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and define project scope.
Write medical and scientific content for various formats, including brochures, patient leaflets, training materials, and digital campaigns
Turn complex scientific and medical concepts into content that is accessible and engaging for different target audiences.
Research complex medical topics and translate them into clear, engaging content.
Strategic Content Leadership & Quality Assurance (70%):
Collaborate closely with internal teams including strategic planning, medical, and creative departments to develop content aligned with brand messaging and communication objectives
Edit and proofread all written content adheres to ensure applicable regulatory, ethical, and legal standards
Validate the accuracy of medical content by referencing scientific literature and clinical data
Review and provide editorial feedback to support overall content quality and consistency.
Qualifications
Must- have
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Biopharmacy, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related healthcare field
Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in medical copywriting, promotional material, or scientific communication in a medical agency or pharmaceutical industry is highly valued.
Experience in medical copywriting or regulatory content development
Collaborative mindset with the ability to receive, incorporate feedback constructively
Strong medical knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Skills and Competencies
Flexible ability to adapt language and tone to different audiences
Experience working in Pharmacy, Healthcare Multinational Company
Strong client- facing communication skills with the confidence to defend, present, and articulate ideas clearly and persuasively in challenging or high- stakes discussions.
Excellent command of written English with the ability to adapt tone and style for various audiences
Skilled in crafting clear, concise, and medically accurate copy
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
High attention to detail, particularly in grammar, structure, and data accuracy
Preferred Experience
Experience in managing large- scale healthcare campaigns.
Familiarity with the APAC region, Southeast Asian healthcare markets is a plus.
