Job Summary
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our portfolio of legacy vacuum valve products, as well as playing a key liaison role between our R&D and Manufacturing Engineering teams to facilitate the successful introduction of new vacuum valve products. Your expertise in vacuum technology, mechanical engineering, and product lifecycle management will be essential in ensuring the continued performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction of our established vacuum valve lines, while also supporting the seamless transition of new products from the R&D phase to manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Maintain and support legacy vacuum valve products, troubleshooting problems, implementing CIP features and optimizing product performance.
Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the stability and reliability of customized vacuum valve solutions.
Analyze field performance data and customer feedback to inform future product improvements and new development efforts.
Participate in the review of product designs, prototypes, and test results to identify and address potential manufacturing and serviceability challenges.
Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to develop and optimize production processes, tooling, testing and quality control measures for new vacuum valve products.
Modify existing vacuum valve product dimensions and features to meet evolving customer demands and market trends.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including product development (R&D), product management, and production to understand customer requirements and develop customized vacuum valve solutions.
Serve as the primary liaison between the R&D and Manufacturing Engineering teams to facilitate the smooth transition of new vacuum valve products from design to high volume production.
Attend meetings and contribute to project/production design review.
Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
