Material Sourcing Manager

- Build up a master file, manage & maintain accurate specification & price on the system; record approval samples for relevant departments (QC, Sales)
- Supervises staff, delegate works and provide coaching to them on daily works
- Conduct regular meetings with key suppliers to understand the pulse of the external environment and or changes
- Source new/alternative suppliers for current running materials and new trend fabrics, trims with competitiveness for our Company
- Set standards & best practices for sourcing/purchasing/controlling actions
- Evaluate member’s performance and motivate them to engage and to work effectively
- Follow up material development (fabric & trims) to meet buyer’s requirement or internal department’s requirement
- Negotiation with suppliers on costing, sample lead time and quality standard (if any) to ensure best price/quality/lead time
- Work on meeting testing parameters of all our brands and work towards it
- Handle cost saving activity in Sourcing including improving Total Cost of Ownership.

- At least 5 years working experience as Material Sourcing Manager in Garment Industry
- Good understanding of garment trade, all kinds of fabrication such as cotton, linen, lycra, polyester,..
- Good knowledge and skills of manufacturing processes, procurement and sourcing process
- Logic and analytical thinking, have a keen eye for detail
- Priority will be given to candidates who work global FOB garment
- Smart & Hard working, good communication, careful person
- Good knowledge of different weaves , structures , count , yarn , finishes , processes , chemicals , dyes and polymers .
- Competent MS Office: excel, PP
- Good command of written and spoken in English
- Proactive at work and good working attitude
