- Strategy and Development:
- Define a competitive costing strategy, drive to implement comprehensive and efficient material costing processes with Dev- Com, Material team, Shoes Costing internally and T2 suppliers externally.
• General and Task Management:
- Collecting raw material marketing price and manufacture cost information, analyze and evaluate raw material prices and LOP costs from T2 suppliers.
- Manages and delivers upper material pricing according to each brand’s critical path and margin requirements.
- Work closely with material team and shoes Costing to support company to achieve margin target.
- Review T2 cost analysis details, negotiate seasonal price with T2 suppliers for material cost, LOP, ensure the final material prices are competitive.
- Build strong partnerships with suppliers, establish performance benchmark, define opportunities and collaborate with Dev- Com and Material team for improvement.
- Actively engage design, development, dev- com, material team and shoes costing teams, drive a collaborative process to optimize material costs against performance goals.
* People Management:
- Manage and coach Material Costing team by material category.
- Set aligned OKRs (Objective/Key Results) by brand, review and assess ongoing performance with other team members.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Shoes Costing team.
