OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The Maintenance & Facility Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing maintenance and ensuring that all facilities are in good and safe condition. The role involves providing engineering support, designing solutions to challenging problems, managing contractors, being on call for emergencies, and handling multiple projects and daily activities. It directly impacts site productivity and operational success. Duties may include but are not limited to:

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct safety drills and update protocols as needed.
Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or compliance issues. Document findings and take corrective actions.
Liaise with external contractors for repairs, renovations, and specialized maintenance services. Monitor and assess contractor performance.
Assist in procuring maintenance supplies and managing inventory. Maintain records of expenditures and equipment history.
Oversee maintenance tasks to ensure quality and efficiency, allocate and monitor team assignments for daily operations.
Monitor operational costs and report budgetary concerns to management.
Prepare and submit reports on facility conditions, completed work, and future needs.
Provide guidance and support to maintenance staff. Train team members on equipment usage, safety, and best practices.
Schedule and execute preventive maintenance for systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical). Respond to emergency repair needs promptly.
