Lead and mentor frontend engineering teams across Japan and Vietnam.
Oversee and continuously improve the frontend development environment and workflow.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers in an agile, global setting.
Promote best practices in frontend development, testing, and CI/CD automation.
Define and execute frontend technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
Develop scalable and high- performing web applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Support the professional growth of junior and mid- level engineers through mentoring and technical guidance.
Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, UX, and accessibility.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in web development, including 5+ years focused on frontend engineering.
At least 3 years of production experience using React.js and Next.js.
Solid proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Hands- on experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and AWS- based infrastructure.
Proven ability to set technical standards, review code, and mentor engineering teams.
Fluent in English (TOEIC 750+ or equivalent level; to be evaluated during the selection process).
Preferred:
Experience leading frontend development in a B2B SaaS environment.
Strong understanding of web security, performance optimization, and design systems.
Familiarity with tools such as GraphQL, Playwright, Storybook, and Node.js build tools (e.g., Babel, webpack).
