JOB OVERVIEW
• We are seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Data Engineer to lead our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, data engineering, and data science, with expertise in RDS, MSSQL, Tableau, Vertica, and Snowflake. As a Data Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. You will work closely with cross- functional teams to drive business intelligence initiatives and support data- driven decision- making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration and transformation.
• Implement and enforce best practices in data management, including data quality, data governance, and data security.
• Leverage data warehousing solutions such as Vertica and Snowflake for optimal data storage, retrieval, and analytics.
• Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to provide actionable insights.
• Ensure effective communication with both technical and non- technical stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project progress and challenges.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and high- performance work environment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support data science initiatives and machine learning models.
• Manage and optimize databases using RDS and MSSQL, ensuring high performance, security, and availability.
• Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the data engineering team.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost- effective delivery of data solutions.
