Lead AI Engineer

THE ROLEWe are seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to join our team to develop and implement AI solutions to solve business problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, machine learning and software architecture, with experience in implementing and deploying enterprise AI services on cloud platforms. Additionally, this candidate should be able to work collaboratively with other team members to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Work collaboratively with software developers to ensure successful deployment of AI services.
Study and understand our current business, involve into the PRD discovery phase, be able to clarify & understand the business problem.
Monitor & optimize AI solutions for performance, scalability and reliability.
Develop, implement and deploy AI solutions to solve real- world business problems.
Participate in estimation, sprint planning and task assignment.
Stay up- to- date with the latest developments in AI, machine learning and AI application architectures.
Be responsible and fully control AI services from scratch, including solution, architect, DB, detailed design, coding, code review, testing, deployment, monitoring and support.
Integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
Lead an AI Engineer development team, focusing on the back- end AI services, by providing direction and facilitating the collaboration between team members.
Collaborate with the AI team and software engineers to build, integrate, and maintain AI models in production systems.
Design cloud- native AI service architecture that is scalable, highly available, reliable and maintainable.
Communicate results and progress clearly to technical and non- technical stakeholders.

Familiar with software engineering practices, such as version control, testing, and deployment
Strong experience in setting up a data pipeline with cost efficiency and security in mind.
Bachelor&039;s or Master&039;s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or related field.
5+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, and software engineering.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to quickly learn and understand new business domains and identify potential areas for AI applications.
Strong experience with AI tools and technologies, such as LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MCP, and scikit- learn.
Good in English communication.
Be able to apply AI into your daily work.
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and integrate AI solutions into SaaS system.
Strong experience in cloud computing (AWS services such as SageMaker, ECS, Lambda, Step Function, S3, SQS…etc).
Experience fine- tuning generative AI models is a plus.
Strong experience in microservices, event driven architectures.
Experience in managing a software development team.
Strong Python, FastAPI programming skills.
