Lab Manager

Manage and maintain laboratory spaces, staffing and facilities. Monitor the facilities to identify scope for improvement and implementation of any required changes in a timely and swiftly manner in accordance with the Lab Director.
Weekly meetings with Section Head, Lab Head and Lab Director for discussing glaring issues and long- term plans.
Ensure seamless supply of laboratory equipment, laboratory consumables, reagents and kits as well as managing the in- house laboratory supplies store.
Making and maintaining manpower roster for all staff and adjusting in emergency situations their Rota.
Liaise with and provide ongoing technical guidance to associated lab dependent verticals in company like customer care, PSC, nursing staff, doctors whenever required.
Participating in Test method verification and EQAS documentation and review.
Oversee routine implementation of the practical laboratory testing protocols, including daily quality control checks from respective section heads, monitoring of all instruments for proper working, on board kits, stored reagents, control material and supply of all the said materials from vendors or distributors in a timely and regular manner.
Provides academic support in all forms whenever required (including workshops and conferences).
Monitoring of compliance with statutory safety requirements and ensuring adherence to safety policies, procedures, and instructions, while maintaining the necessary records and checks in accordance with ISO and CAP (In future).
Establishment of a maintenance and training programs and documentation of service contracts for equipment.
Oversee training of laboratory technicians and interns on various techniques and equipment and maintain a record for the same.

Ability to work as part of a team and a leader of the team.
Experience of managing people including performance management and staff development.
A bachelor/master’s degree in laboratory technical field or other relevant subjects, have a practice license in medical techique laboratory.
Experience of running maintenance programs for both general and highly specialized equipment.
Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse and demanding increasing workload.
Exceptional leadership, organizational and problem- solving skills.
Highly effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills especially good English and Vietnamese (preferably).
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in managing and operating laboratories across different disciplines, including hematology, clinical chemistry, immunoassay, clinical pathology, special chemistry, microbiology.
Capable to multitask, work proactively and with minimal supervision.
