The overarching responsibility for the Korean Liaison Officer is to support the Admissions Manager to promote the school name among Korean community, provide high quality admissions services to students and parents and to support the school with translation work.
In order to fulfil this responsibility, the Korean Liaison Officer, under the supervision of the Admissions Manager, will:
Implement admissions and enrolment policies and procedures of the whole admissions process from enquiry until students start their course at the school, including evaluating the academic records of prospective students and working with others to develop admissions criteria and entrance tests. Also supporting students and their families during their studies at the school;
Implement a reliable and easily accessible filing and checking procedure so that all required information is obtained and made available to the Principal, Heads of School and the Admissions Manager upon their request;
Coordinate with related departments in order to complete the admissions process professionally and successfully;
Korean parents can contact them to report illness, leave of absence, go late, leave early;
Monitor statistical records to be able to improve admissions strategies, forecasting, and overall operational efficiency;
Implement all admissions activities for the school including attending recruitment related events and being the school’s representative, providing information to prospective parents and students about the school in a professional manner;
Translate emails from principals, event emails, interprete in events, meetings;
Get information from Korean parents and then translate it into English for everyone at school;
Translate emails from the subject teacher updating the learning situation of Korean students;
Call to inform parents about all the problems of Korean students when needed;
Liaise with the school&039;s Marketing Department to give input on marketing plan, develop materials to attract prospective parents and students and to participate in marketing events and activities when required;
Undertake any reasonable additional responsibilities as may be from time to time required by the Admissions Manager;
Support the Marketing Department in conducting research to identify additional ways to reach target groups and referral sources;
Translate school policies.
Support the Admissions Manager to provide information in a range of formats for prospective parents and students, especially Korean community;
