The Chief Accountant plays a key role in overseeing the company’s financial and accounting operations, with a clear development path toward a CFO mindset. In a startup environment, this position works closely with management, investors, banks, and local authorities.
Core Accounting Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate transaction records
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and financial reporting
Coordinate with banks and relevant authorities for routine financial matters
Maintain accounting records, internal controls, and asset management
Handle tax filings and statutory compliance (CIT, VAT, PIT) with external advisors as needed
Business- Specific & Technical Responsibilities
Support accounting and reporting for transactions with overseas group entities, including Singapore
Assist with intercompany funding, loans, and capital- related transactions
Work with external auditors and tax advisors on related matters
Handle accounting for import/export transactions and foreign currency payments
Support review of tax implications related to cross- border and manufacturing transactions

Shareholder & Management Support

Prepare financial materials for shareholders, investors, and management
Assist with management and board- level financial reporting
Support due diligence, audit, and periodic reporting processes

Qualifications (Bắt buộc)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Working proficiency in English
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications (Ưu tiên)

Exposure to cross- border tax or complex transaction structures
Experience in manufacturing, import/export, or foreign currency transactions
Experience working with external auditors or accounting firms
Experience with overseas subsidiaries or intercompany transactions
