We are looking for a Shopify Developer to build, customize, and optimize our online store on the Shopify platform. Shopify will be your primary focus, but experience with other e- commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce is a plus. You will collaborate with our development, design, and marketing teams to implement new features, enhance the user experience, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Integrate third- party services and APIs, including payment, shipping, CRM, and marketing tools.
- Build and customize Shopify themes, apps, and related web applications using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Next.js.
- Contribute to other projects as required.
- Continuously optimize website performance, responsiveness, and SEO.
- Maintain and enhance the company’s e- commerce system, with Shopify as the primary platform.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support updates to products, content, and marketing campaigns.
Requirements
Skills and experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in web development, including at least 1 year working with Shopify.
- Proactive, detail- oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Understanding of third- party API integration (payment, shipping, CRM, marketing tools).
- Experience with package managers and building tools (npm, yarn, webpack, etc.).
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with React/Next.js.
- Understanding of responsive web design and UI/UX principles for e- commerce.
- Familiarity with Git and basic Linux command- line usage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other e- commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, etc.).
- Experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, Shopify App development, and Shopify CLI.
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js.
- Knowledge of performance optimization and SEO for e- commerce websites.
