Join the ALPACA team as a Python Developer!
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with team members in an agile environment to deliver high- quality software.
Report directly to Deputy BU Head.
Handle & process medium- to- large datasets for efficient calculation and integration.
Maintain and optimize core calculation system, including code efficiency, performance tuning, and quick issue resolution.
Develop and maintain backend services using Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI). Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows, data processing scripts, and integrations with various systems (e.g., Core Insurance, CRM, ERP)
Your skills and experiences
Understanding of Microservices and Microservice Architecture
Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle).
Understanding of object- oriented programming and software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event- driven systems).
Good time management, communication, and problem- solving skills
1+ years experience working with Python, Django or a similar framework.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (Git, Gitlab).
Nice to have:
Understanding of secure coding practices, data privacy, and system reliability is preferred.
Experience working with systems involving financial transactions, reporting, or data validation is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences/ Information Technology/ Engineering, or equivalent
Basic knowledge of front- end technologies (e.g., ReactJs) is a plus.
Good writing and reading English skills
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud services (AWS/GCP).
