Junior/Middle Java Developer Spring

As a Java Developer at Endava, you will work in a professional and cross- functional team for payment gateway services. You&039;ll be involved in the full development lifecycle of a software system. Contribute to delivering new products to the market by meeting customer&039;s requirements and product development programs. Be an integral part of a Scrum team and contribute to Agile processes.
Responsibilities:

Designs, estimates, and implements technical solutions for medium/high complexity applications.
Participates actively in all phases of application development lifecycle.
Learns and applies new technologies, practices, and tools as appropriate to the project.
Proposes improvements and escalates risks/issues related to development activities.
Collaborates with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.
Shares experience and knowledge gained from projects.
Recommends and promotes IT industry standards, tools, practices (DevOps, etc.) to achieve well- engineered software products.
Participates in internal and external tech communities, events.
Participates in the review of the work done by development team members.

Basic knowledge with CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Practical experience in platform- specific database systems and SQL.
Proficiency in Java and tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, Spring, Hibernate, Maven/Gradle.
Understanding of Git or similar version control systems.
2+ years of experience in software development.
Understanding of OOP, functional programming, and clean code principles (SOLID, GoF, MVVM).
Familiar with communication protocols such as HTTP, REST, JSON, TCP/IP.
Good problem- solving skills, teamwork, communication abilities and analytical thinking.
Experience with testing and mocking frameworks.
Intermediate English proficiency.
