Junior Backend Developer

Helping maintain our web application tech stack: Laravel PHP, MySQL, Redis, Kafka and whatever else is required to get the job done
Participating in the full product lifecycle: planning, conception, development, testing, customer feedback, and iteration
Contributing to build new product lines and features for web applications as well as improving and maintaining the quality of the entire codebase
Proactively suggesting improvements across the whole stack

Proven experience with PHP (7+) particularly with Laravel framework
Aptitude to learn new technologies/techniques quickly and efficiently
Experience developing SaaS style applications and/or public APIs
Desire and eagerness to contribute to the success of the company and grow along with it
Strong agile mindset, someone who is able to iterate fast and give early feedback
Ability to communicate in English- Asking questions when needed and sharing your knowledge and learnings with international team
Hands- on/team player mentality and leadership ability
A “self- starter” attitude in order to make progress in ambiguous situations and a high level of accountability

Bonus points for

Docker and Kubernetes experience
CI/CD experience
Experience with React JS and Progressive Web Apps
Active member of the Open Source community
