JavaScrip Developer Low-Code

Job Summary
Bosch is undergoing a transformation by migrating legacy workflow platforms to a modern low- code solution. We are seeking a Workflow Developer (JavaScript & Low- Code) with strong JavaScript expertise and experience in business workflow development to join our team. The primary responsibility will be migrating existing workflows from the legacy system to the new platform while ensuring seamless functionality. Additionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to upskill in OutSystems (low- code platform) for future application development.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Bosch’s security and architecture standards.
Troubleshoot and fix issues related to workflow migration and functionality.
Document migration processes, configurations, and customizations for future reference.
Work with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure workflows align with business requirements.
Develop custom actions and logic in JavaScript for advanced features, logic, or validation needs.
Identify the pros and cons of the current workflow to enhance it based on the new platform’s features and advantages.
Learn and use OutSystems to develop and improve applications as needed.

Mandatory requirements:

Strong analytical and problem- solving abilities.
Good communication and fluent English skills to interact with technical and non- technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
3+ years of experience in JavaScript (ES6+) for custom logic implementation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team.
Design thinking for logic, flow enhancement to deliver good UX instead of strictly follow original requirement.
Educational background: Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or relevant majors.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and integration patterns.
Hands- on experience in business workflow development (e.g., BPMN, workflow automation).

Nice- to- Have:

Exposure to legacy system migration projects.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Prior experience with OutSystems is a strong advantage.
Basic understanding of low- code platforms (OutSystems, Power Apps, etc.) is a plus.
