IT Supervisor

Position Goals: Responsible for IT operations, infrastructure, user support, and procurement in Vietnam, while overseeing and assisting IT activities across APAC sites (Australia, Japan, China, India...). Ensure 24/7 system availability and implement solutions to improve business efficiency.
Responsibilities
Client and user support

Training and instruction of employees and the handling of software products, cell phones
Installation and operation of servers, network components, PCs, notebooks, printers, telephones, monitors, and other peripheral devices
License management, procurement of IT products based on need and compliance with PC standards
Setting up and managing user accounts in Active Directory, and access permissions

Network and server administration

Setting up and operating remote access and site- to- site VPN
Monitoring of network components and reaction to faults and performance
Continuous documentation of the network and infrastructure
Configuration of the network infrastructure (firewall, switches, VLAN, etc.)

Data backup and emergency concept

Design and maintenance of the ICT emergency concept
Responsible for the completeness and recoverability of data backups
Daily check that data backup is complete and free of errors
Restoration of data, documentation and update of the backup concept

Supported applications

Application and infrastructure servers and services
Active Directory (users, groups, clients), Group Ware, Office 365
Telephone system and other operation of the software distribution

Duties of the body
Ensure compliance with IT standards, licensing, data protection, and backup/disaster recovery. Oversee access control, enforce ICT policies, manage user/app deletions, and coordinate external support during off- hours if needed.

Bachelor&039;s degree in computer science or above.
3- 5 years of working experience in IT Infrastructure Management.
Good experience of designing and managing a data center, top- level end- user supporting, knowledge of ITIL and experience with ticket systems.
A PMP Certification or ITIL will be a plus.
Have experience in a multinational company.
Familiar with Veeam or other backup technology, network service applications like DHCP, DNS, Forward Proxy, Reverse Proxy.
Familiar with Microsoft products like Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Hyper- V, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure Cloud or any other cloud computing platform, Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Hands- on experience with FortiGate firewall and other Fortinet applications will be a plus.
Fluent in English speaking and writing.
Have experience in IT project management.
Solid experience in configuring firewall, router, switch, and wireless equipment.
