Role Description
Responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT systems and for providing efficient desktop support to all business users as Second Line Supporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
System Management
Implement an internal document for IT Department with respective IT Documentations, Manuals (IT Admin and User level).
Upgrade the IT Systems with new releases, security update packages and/or firmware.
Implement and manage the IT Assets Management
Manage other technology tools such KeePass, Manage Engine Password Manager (if applicable), Service Desk, etc. to provide the best method to control the in- house IT Systems and assets.
Ensure Software licencing in full compliance with requirements and instructions
Manage all servers on both physical host and VMWare virtual machines.
Monitor IT Systems performance and provide accuracy/timely system maintains according to business requirements.
Data Monitoring & Maintenance, Backup and Security
Ensure CIA (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability) of business IT assets, including but not limit:
Users’ credential and permission on all IT Systems,
Backup system,
Business data and information,
Hardware and software configuration of critical IT systems, for example, servers, firewall, core switch, access switch,
E- mail system, also, other online application system that provided by Microsoft in associated with Office 365 licenses.
Maintain the IT Assets Register, including:
IT Assets Inventory.
Data Assets Register,
Permissions Matrix,
IT Development & Team coordination
Provide the instructions to newcomer (IT Officer) to help him/her in according with current IT System maintenance, implementation, and operation.
Perform the needed tasks for any IT Projects implementation
Develop best practices and written documentation for IT Systems maintenance, implementation, and operation.
Backup for IT Manager in some IT Tasks.
IT Support as second line supporting
Perform other IT relevant tasks as assigned by Group IT Manager and BOD
Assist Group IT Manager in troubleshooting the IT critical systems maintenance, repairing or replacing.
Provide the second support to the end- users during IT Assets usage and IT Assets Lifecycle.
Allplan Technical Support
Take responsibility for Allplan support at GSI (with an additional position is Allplan Technical Support)
Follow up, update, and report the issue status to Group IT Manager
Receive requests to handle related issues (system, users management, licensing, installation, backup & restore, upgrade, update version, central file management) which assigned by Group IT Manager
Contact Allplan Technical Team to solve the Allplan issue (if need)
