Job Purpose:
The Infra Manager leads the strategic planning, development, and management of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures infrastructure scalability, efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals. Responsibilities include guiding the technology operations team, overseeing infrastructure projects, managing daily IT operations, and ensuring security and compliance. The Infra Manager also handles vendor relationships, budget management, and drives continuous improvement and innovation within the IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Infrastructure Planning
Ensure infrastructure projects align with the company&039;s strategic objectives.
Create and execute strategies to improve IT infrastructure.
Manage infrastructure architecture for scalability and efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development
Provide leadership and guidance to the technology operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular performance evaluations.
Recruit, mentor, and develop technical talent, building a high- performing team capable of meeting the organization&039;s technology needs.
Project and Task Management
Collaborate with cross- functional department and Business to meet project goals.
Manage infrastructure projects from start to finish.
Ensure timely, within scope, and budget- compliant project delivery.
IT Operations Management
Manage incident and problem resolution processes to maintain high uptime and availability of all systems to maintain business continuity.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Oversee day- to- day IT operations to ensure stability and efficiency.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure platforms.
Manage the server room, ensuring the health and maintenance of network devices and servers.
Champion DevOps principles to increase the ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity, enhance reliability, and streamline workflows.
Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all platform services.
Oversee all hardware, software, licenses, subscriptions, and related assets.
Security and Compliance
Maintain and enhance ISO27001 practices through robust security policies.
Ensure the security of IT infrastructure and compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with the Purchasing team to negotiate contracts, costs, service levels; and ensure third- party solutions meet organizational needs.
Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals.
