IT Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

On- Premise Infrastructure Operations (Primary Focus)

Operate and maintain campus IT infrastructure, including:

Physical and virtual servers
Network devices and firewalls

Administer:

Windows Server and Linux
File servers, NAS, and backup systems
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

Manage network operations:

Firewall rules and VPN (site- to- site / remote access)
VLAN segmentation and basic routing
Separate staff, student, and guest networks
Monitor system health, performance, and availability
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents at school campuses

Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

Deploy and operate workloads on: AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM)
Perform operational tasks:

Backup, snapshot, and restore
Resource monitoring and alerting

Support hybrid connectivity:

On- premise & Cloud VPN connections
Follow existing security baselines and operational standards

Google Workspace & Collaboration Tools

Support day- to- day operation of Google Workspace:

User and group management
Drive, Gmail, and Meet configuration based on provided guidelines
Basic admin and access control tasks

Support Google Classroom:

Troubleshooting usage and access issues
Classroom setup and technical support for teachers
Coordinate with academic and operations teams to resolve technical issues

Monitoring, Security & Operations Support

Monitor:

Storage usage and backups
Infrastructure and service availability
Network and system performance

Assist with:

Escalate issues and provide clear technical reports when needed
Phishing, malware, and endpoint issues
Incident handling following existing procedures
Log collection and basic audit support

Documentation & Technical Support

Create and maintain:

Technical documentation
Incident and troubleshooting guides
SOPs and operational checklists

Provide Tier- 2 / Tier- 3 technical support for: Staff and teachers
Participate in:

Deployment of new school campuses
Infrastructure upgrades or renovations

3–6 years of experience in:

IT Infrastructure
System / Network Engineering

Strong hands- on experience with:

Backup and monitoring systems
Windows Server and Linux
Network fundamentals (L2/L3), firewall rules, VPN

Practical experience operating:

AWS
Google workspace for education

Comfortable working with procedures and operational standards
Must have or obtain the Google Workspace administration certificate before end of probationary period
