Position 1: Industrial Engineer (Supply Chain)
- Works cross- functionally with other multiorganizational stakeholders to plan and optimize factory layout and equipment design and ensure optimal process flow.
- Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
- Drives stakeholder alignment and integration to better develop capacity plans and flexible building designs to support dynamic business situations.
- Based on these studies, we develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods to ensure equipment, capital assets, and facility plans align to dynamic business direction.
- Optimizes factory capacity and space utilization in both short term and long- term horizon to support business needs with best flexibility and cost.
- Defines and manages tool metrics, monitors tool performance, and drives productivity improvement such as run rate, labor, and workflow optimization.
- Leads key initiatives relating to forecasting and continuous improvement to optimize the efficiency of operations and workflow.
- Identifies and develops solutions for factory constraints. Provides solutions for identified problems to improve capacity and minimize capital expenditures.
- Uses data analysis and complex modeling to improve factory/network output with recommendations on tools, conversions, and transfers.
- Manages factory capacity planning, time study, equipment purchases and inventory management and drives efficiency in productivity and cost to meet customer demand.
- Ensures accuracy and optimization of equipment placement, building layout, and capacity through benchmarking, and facility and wafer transfer modeling and simulation.
