POSITION PURPOSE
We are seeking a strategic and hands- on Data Services Manager to lead our efforts in transforming data into a critical business asset. This dual- focus role is responsible for overseeing our enterprise Reporting & Business Intelligence services while also driving innovation through our Data & AI practice. You will manage a team of analysts and engineers to ensure the delivery of reliable, insightful reporting and to pioneer advanced solutions in machine learning, automation, and data governance.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high- performing team of BI developers, data analysts, and data
- Establish and champion a culture of data- driven decision- making across the
- Manage the portfolio of data projects, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and resource
- Develop and execute a holistic data strategy aligned with business objectives, encompassing both traditional BI and modern AI capabilities.
Manage the budget, vendor relationships, and tools for the data services
Reporting & Business Intelligence Services:
- Oversee the design, development, maintenance, and performance of our central data repositories (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, SQL Server, Databricks) to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Define, track, and report on key business metrics (KPIs), ensuring accuracy and consistency across the
- Lead the development and deployment of high- impact, user- friendly reports and interactive dashboards primarily using Microsoft Power BI.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document reporting and analytics
Data & AI Services:
- Guide the team in performing statistical analysis and conducting deep- dive analyses to generate actionable insights.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies, including data quality, metadata management, security, and privacy standards.
- Identify opportunities for and oversee the development of automation solutions (e.g., RPA, automated data pipelines, self- service analytics) to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
- Explore and pilot new AI/ML technologies and methodologies to solve complex business problems and create a competitive advantage.
