HVAC Engineer (5+ Years Of Design Experience)

Job Summary:
As an HVAC Engineer, you will lead the design of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems from the basic conceptual phase through to detailed execution. This role requires a strong ability to validate, check, and defend designs in client meetings and regulatory reviews, ensuring compliance with standards and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership
Manage the entire design process, from basic conceptual layouts to detailed technical drawings.
Create and oversee HVAC system designs (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Ensure designs meet energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
Design Review & Defense
Defend designs during meetings with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies, providing clear explanations and technical justifications.
Check and validate HVAC designs to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with standards.
Documentation
Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and calculation reports.
Ensure technical documentation adheres to Vietnamese, German, and international standards.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements and project specifications.
Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the design process to maintain high standards.
Collaboration
Work closely with project teams, including architects, civil engineers, and construction managers, to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into overall designs.
Participate in design review meetings to address challenges and propose solutions.
Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
Construction Support: Provide technical guidance during the construction phase to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Proven ability to check, validate, and defend designs in client and regulatory reviews.
At least 5 years of professional experience in HVAC design, covering both basic and detailed phases.
Technical Skills
In- depth knowledge of Vietnamese, German, and international HVAC standards and codes.
Expertise in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
Language Skills
Fluent in English (required).
Knowledge of German is an advantage.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills for design defense.
Leadership and mentorship abilities to guide teams and manage complex challenges.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
