As Housekeeping Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of the Housekeeping and Laundry operations, ensuring that every space within Hotel reflects comfort, quality, and a sense of care. You’ll lead your team to deliver an immaculate environment and memorable guest experiences, while supporting the pre- opening setup and daily operations in line with IHG standards.
Key Responsibilities
People
• Support pre- opening staffing, recruitment, and training to ensure a smooth launch and operational readiness.
• Ensure all colleagues follow safety, hygiene, and brand standards and are properly equipped for their roles.
• Plan and assign daily work, monitor team performance, and provide continuous coaching and feedback to enhance skills and morale.
• Lead, train, and inspire the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver exceptional service and cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas, and back- of- house spaces.
• Foster teamwork and effective communication across all departments to ensure seamless guest service.
Financial
• Maintain optimal inventory levels for linens, amenities, and equipment, and track cost per occupied room and laundry efficiency.
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost- saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
• Support sustainability goals by minimizing waste and optimizing resource usage.
Guest Experience
• Ensure guest rooms, suites, and public areas meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards that reflect the Rêve Saigon brand.
• Conduct regular inspections and follow up on maintenance or service issues promptly.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of VIP and long- stay guest rooms.
• Handle guest requests, preferences, and feedback with professionalism and care.
• Collaborate with the Front Office team to ensure timely room readiness and smooth arrivals.
Responsible Business
• Implement IHG’s “Journey to Tomorrow” sustainability practices within housekeeping operations.
• Maintain detailed documentation for audits and corrective actions.
• Manage lost and found, key control, and guest property procedures responsibly.
• Perform other duties as assigned and act as Manager on Duty when required.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and local regulatory standards.
Accountability
This role leads the Housekeeping and Laundry teams in a full- service, boutique luxury environment. You’ll be accountable for cleanliness, guest satisfaction, departmental performance, and team engagement in line with brand and operational standards.
