JOB DESCRIPTION
1 General Description
The purpose of this position is to be responsibleto operate the customs operations to ensure in the delivery best- of- classservice to internal and external customers. Thiscandidate must have excellent communication and client management skills tomaintain positive client relations. This candidate must be a self- starter, whois able to work in a fast- paced and dynamic environment. This candidate must bea team player to ensure good working cooperation between the different Businessunits locally
Thecandidate’s secondary responsibilities will be to support the Products and theBusiness Units in advisory and other custom- related matters
2 Specific Accountabilities
Customs Operations
· Guide and support all functions in DB Schenker for customs- relatedrequirements
· Checking compliance in terms of customsdeclaration via VNACCS System.
Ensure that the delivery of the shipment is done timely
Collaborate with customers on daily basis to check and verify the shipping docs for customs clearance
Ensure billing is done timely and accurately
Declare customs via VNACCS system
· Ensure compliance with country subcontractor management policies andprocedures
· Support the functions and business units and monitor their operativetasks to ensure legal compliance with customs and other regulations
· Perform internal reviews of adherence to global and country standards aswell as customer SOPs with regards to customs brokerage and related taxes at BUlevel.
Subcontractor Management
· Work with suppliers to improve their service if KPIs are not being met
· Ensure that the KPIs are achieved by the subcontractors
Sales Support
Support Sales, Air, Ocean and Logistics functions in selling Customs Services by providing expert know- how in sales and tender processes.
HSSE
· Report nearmisses to Manager / Supervisor
· Understand theHSSE policy of the company
· Follow the HSSEpolicy of the company
· Ensure that HSSEguidance is followed by staff
REQUIREMENTS
1 Skills Required
· Good English communication skills(listening,speaking, reading, writing).
· Customs knowledge/expertise and operationalskills.
· Excel, word computer skills.
· Communication skill, collaborationwith stakeholders.
2 Experience and Qualifications
· English &Vietnamese communication skills
· Able to workby shift if any
· Has a certificatein Customs declaration
· At least 1year of experience in customs declaration using VNACCS & ECUS systems
· At least twoyears in customs declaration as above.
· Universitygraduate major relevant fields
