Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Governance
• Act as a strategic partner to the CFO on cost structure optimization, capex planning, cash management, and supplier risk.
• Define and execute M- Village’s group- wide procurement strategy aligned with financial targets, expansion plans, and operational needs.
• Establish procurement governance, policies, approval frameworks, and ethical standards to ensure transparency, compliance, and risk control.
Strategic Sourcing & Category Leadership
• Lead sourcing strategies across core hospitality categories including:
• Build strategic supplier partnerships while maintaining competitive sourcing discipline.
• Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) mindset beyond price, balancing cost, quality, sustainability, and guest experience.
• FF&E, OS&E, design & fit- out
• F&B, housekeeping, guest supplies
• Capex projects and development- related spend
• Engineering, maintenance, utilities, and services
Systems, Processes & Procurement Set- Up
• Design and implement scalable procurement processes suitable for a fast- growing hotel/living concept.
• Lead selection and rollout of procurement tools (e- procurement, contract management, spend analytics).
• Ensure standardization across properties while allowing necessary flexibility for local operations.
Procurement Transformation & Value Creation
• Lead the transformation of procurement from tactical purchasing to a strategic value creator.
• Introduce best practices in sourcing, contract management, supplier performance, and risk management.
• Identify and deliver cost savings, productivity improvements, and working capital benefits.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
• Define clear roles, KPIs, and career development paths.
• Upgrade procurement capability in strategic sourcing, negotiation, data analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Build, lead, and coach a high- performing procurement team at both corporate and property levels.
Stakeholder & Change Management
• Balance cost efficiency with operational excellence, brand standards, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead change effectively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Partner closely with Finance, Operations, Design, Engineering, and Property General Managers.
