Head of Finance (Healthcare/ Insurtech) - HCMC

Financial Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the company’s financial objectives are achieved
Oversee long- term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company’s strategic plans
Acting as a Business Partner to the Vietnam Managing Director, providing financial analysis to facilitate the optimal use of commercial resources and establish an optimal local group entity structure
Financial Management
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
Supervise investment activities and provide strategies for cash management.
Financial Reporting
Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decision- making.
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and statements to the Group Finance Manager, board of directors, and shareholders.
Risk Management
Implement policies and procedures to maintain financial discipline and control.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Leadership and Team ManagementLead and manage the finance team, including accounting, treasury, audit and tax to ensure full compliance to the local statutory, financial and tax regulations.Develop and drive a continuous improvement and grow mindset.
Collaboration and Stakeholder ManagementWork closely with other senior executives and departments to support and drive company objectives.Engage with investors, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
Corporate GovernanceEnsure corporate governance compliance and adherence to ethical standards.Maintain relationships with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process including tax audits.

Education and Certifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly desirable
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required
Experience
Proven track record of managing complex financial operations and leading a finance team
At least 10 years of financial management experience
Experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
Skills and Competencies
Fluent English (in 4 skills)
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
High integrity and ethical standards
Proficiency in financial management software and advance Excel skills
Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem- solving skills
