Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and implementing strategyin data and application integration in line with the bank‘s objectives. Responsibilities include designing integration architecture, ensuring data governance, project management, and vendor relationships management. Develop data integration processes with a focus on API management, especially Open API frameworks, to facilitate integration with external systems. Implement advanced middleware and API solutions, aligned with Open Banking standards, to ensure seamless communication between internal and external applications.
Main Responsibilities:
• People Management: Recruit, train, supervise and manage the performance of subordinate employees to ensure completion of assigned work plans; Build and maintain a collaborative, high- performance work culture, providing guidance and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Documentation and training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes and standards. Provide training on integration tools and best practices to staff and end- users.
• Integration architecture and data governance: Design a robust integration architecture supporting the IT ecosystem, and define data governance standards for data accuracy, security, and compliance. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Project and vendor management: Oversee integration projects ensuring timely, budget- compliant delivery. Manage relationships with third- party vendors, ensuring alignment with integration strategies and quality standards.
• Strategic management & execution: Manage and execute a strategic vision for data and application integration in line with the bank‘s objectives.
• Security, Compliance, and reporting: Implement security measures for data protection during integration and ensure compliance with regulations. Enable data reporting and analytics for business intelligence, collaborating with data analysts for insights.
• Data and application integration with emphasis on Open Banking: Focus on developing data integration processes that prioritize API management, particularly Open API frameworks, to facilitate integration with external systems. Implement advanced middleware and API solutions, aligned with Open Banking standards, to ensure seamless communication across internal and external applications. This strategy enhances data synchronization and interoperability across diverse banking systems, leveraging Open APIs for external system integration.
Requirements:
• Excellent project management skills and experience leading cross- functional teams.
• Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Preference Master‘s degree and for those with experience working abroad).
• Familiarity with banking systems and regulatory compliance is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in data and application integration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem- solving abilities.
• Proven experience with integration technologies, middleware, ETL tools, and API management. Good knowledge of data architecture, including experience with data lake, data warehouse, and BI, as well as a solid understanding of cloud technologies like AWS/GCP/Azure
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
• Fluency in English.
