JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Collaborating with parents and school staffto track student progress.
● Ability to communicate effectively in bothEnglish and Vietnamese
● Adhering to Wellspring Saigon&039;s code ofconduct and teaching practices
● Working with the Head of Student SuccessCenter to Design Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
● Assessing children’s skills and learningrequirements
● Liaise with both Vietnamese Program andInternational Program to develop and enhance professional learning andcollaboration.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Professional activities
Working with students with learning difficulties,the duty of the Learning Support Teacher is to enable and empower the studentto be able to access their current curriculum to the best of their ability
Teaching
Working with individual or small groups ofstudents, the teacher will help develop and support the learning of thestudents
Student development progress will be tracked andmeasured according to department guidelines
Students are assigned by the Head of the LSC,according to the needs of the student and the experience of the teacher
Teacher will spend no more than 24 teachingperiods a week working directly with students
Administration Duties
Weekly report of student progress
Weekly meetings to discuss teaching practice andcontinued support of students
Contributionsto Wellspring Saigon community
Learning Support Teachers are encouraged to beinvolved in school activities and departmental awareness campaigns
REQUIREMENTS
● Agood classroom practitioner with evidence of setting appropriate expectationsto advance learning and to engage and motivate students
● Willingnessto attend training associated with the needs of the Learning Support classroom
● Abilityto set clear and appropriate targets, feedback to students and make use ofassessment information to promote each student’s attainment and progress, andto plan future lessons
● Abilityto reflect on own practice
● Successful experience in Learning Supportteaching preferred
● Abilityto use appropriately a range of differentiated teaching and learning strategiesfor whole classes, individuals and groups which stimulate, challenge, engageand motivate students

Learning Curriculum Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION
● Curriculum Delivery
Embed LSC core themes—resilience,metacognition, collaboration, digital citizenship, and ethical thinking—in allteaching and learning experiences.
Model academic English while strategicallyscaffolding Vietnamese or other home languages, if and when required, to ensureequitable access, comprehension, and emotional well- being.
Teach the Learning Success Curriculum (LSC)to full student classes (up to 24 periods per week) following Wellspring’sbilingual education and English- medium instruction policies.
● Instructional Design
Design and adapt lesson plans that reflectLSC’s pedagogical foundations: Building Learning Power, Visible ThinkingRoutines, Learning by Doing, Reflective Practice, and Universal Design forLearning (UDL).
Integrate activities that promote studentagency, reflective thinking, and growth mindset consistent with LSC philosophy.
● Assessment & Reflection
Use growth rubrics, student portfolios, andself/peer reflections to track and celebrate student progress.
Engage in weekly reflective practice,documenting how lessons foster curiosity, self- regulation, and bilingual confidence.
● Collaboration & Professional Growth
Collaborate with LSC peers to co- developcurriculum units and refine instructional approaches that align with schoolwideoutcomes.
Participate in professional learningworkshops that strengthen teacher buy- in and shared commitment to the LSCmission and values.
● Community Engagement
Demonstrate and model Wellspring’s core valuesin daily teaching practice—wellbeing, innovation, bilingual communication,ethics, and self- directed learning.
Support LSC clubs, wellbeing projects, and awareness campaigns thatpromote student voice, global citizenship, and community service.
REQUIREMENTS
● Commitmentto student wellbeing, growth mindset, and inclusive learning principles.
● Strongorganizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
● Bachelor’s degree in Education or relatedfield; teaching certification preferred.
● Experience in Learning Support, inclusiveeducation, or bilingual instruction is advantageous
● Expertisein differentiated instruction, metacognitive strategies, and reflectiveteaching.
● Proficiencyin English and Vietnamese; ability to model bilingual academic communication.
