How You&039;ll Make An Impact
As a Data Privacy Intern, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of Trusting Social’s privacy and personal data protection program. Working under the guidance of privacy professionals, you’ll assist in maintaining documentation, supporting compliance activities, and promoting data protection awareness across the organization.
This internship provides hands- on experience in the field of data privacy within a fast- paced Fintech and AI- driven environment. You will collaborate with cross- functional teams including Legal, HR, IT Compliance, Engineering, and Business Operations to support privacy initiatives aligned with regulatory and internal compliance goals.
What You Will Do
Conduct user surveys, assist in data mapping exercises, and help maintain inventories of personal data processing activities.
Maintain and organize documentation, records, and trackers related to privacy compliance and regulatory obligations.
Assist in routine privacy tasks such as reviewing internal processes, SOPs, and privacy- related documents under supervision.
Support the creation of educational materials such as training slides or quick- reference guides on data privacy principles.
Provide administrative support: scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, updating action items, and tracking deliverables.
Help develop or update templates, checklists, and forms used in privacy program operations.
What You Need To Have
Basic knowledge of data protection & data privacy principles, relevant laws and regulations, and common privacy terminology.
Familiarity with privacy standards like ISO 27001, PCI- DSS or NIST Privacy Framework is helpful but not required.
Currently studying or recently graduated in Information Security, Management Information Systems, or related IT field.
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
