Job Description
Prepare and submit investment report to Department of Planning and Investment quarterly, yearly.
Responsible for fixed assets management includes monthly update new assets, depreciation and liquidation.
Monthly closing
Double- check and reconcile IT- Hardware report.
Cooperate with other accountants in payment schedule/plan to guarantee the best cash condition of company.
Run depreciation and amortization monthly.
Work with the bank to inform the currency transaction in month.
Fixed Assets management
Prepare tax reports under regulations of tax authorities fully and timely. Make tax payments at any due time determined by tax authorities from time to time including VAT, FCT, PIT, business license tax.
Support Chief Accountant in ad- hoc tasks as Tax control, Audit, internal report and accounting books.
Prepare monthly provisions and supporting files, comments to accounting manager
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Ad- hoc
Provide data of asset to the related departments upon request.
Cash management
Manage inventory of HCMC fixed assets; ensure a proper record & labeling; conduct the yearly inventory with auditors in HCMC. Coordinate fixed assets management in another studio in VN to ensure all processes are applied consistently, including the inventories.
Check and renew power of attorneys (POA) when necessary
Legal
Work with the Law firm to update legal documents.
Tax Report
Update the new changes from accounting law, circular, dispatch related to fixed assets, and communicate with other VN studios to apply timely and consistently.
Manage the cash of VN studios through cash call report, bank balance report and cash call review to Headquarter.
Qualifications
Being highly responsible with confidential matters/reports/data
Good understanding of accounting principles and practices;
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Being careful, detail- oriented, and able to maintain accuracy of accounting data and reports
Computer literacy –MS Office applications
Ability to work independently, a team- player
