We are seeking a results- driven and dynamic Senior Business Development Team Leader to spearhead the sales efforts for MoMo Rewards, our innovative solution designed to help merchants grow by engaging their customers effectively. This role is crucial in driving merchant adoption, raising their investments in the platform, and fostering long- term partnerships that unlock mutual success.
What you will do
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand MoMo Rewards adoption.
Analyze market trends, merchant needs, and competitive landscape to define strategies that align with business goals.
Collaborate with leadership to set priorities, allocate resources, and identify new market opportunities
Merchant Acquisition and Engagement
Identify and target potential merchants across various industries to adopt MoMo Rewards.
Build strong relationships with merchants, understanding their business challenges and demonstrating how MoMo Rewards addresses their needs.
Present compelling pitches to merchants, showcasing the benefits of using MoMo Rewards to increase customer engagement and loyalty.
Investment Growth:
Encourage merchants to increase their investment in MoMo Rewards by presenting data- driven insights and case studies.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross- selling complementary solutions within the MoMo ecosystem.
Negotiate and finalize agreements that align with the merchants’ growth strategies.
Collaboration and Reporting
Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and analytics teams to tailor solutions to merchant needs and market trends.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports to management on team progress, merchant feedback, and market opportunities.
Market Research and Strategy
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and merchant needs to refine sales approaches.
Contribute to the development of new features or incentives to enhance the value proposition of MoMo Rewards.
What you will need
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
Familiarity with rewards, loyalty programs, or fintech solutions is highly desirable.
Proven track record of driving sales and growing investments in merchant- focused solutions.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with a customer- centric mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
