General missions
Responsibilities include increasing the equity of the Hotel and brand through all communications, products and partnerships, and using Centara and Brand platforms and tools to drive revenue for rooms and all hotel outlets and services. Design and custom artwork for the hotel under the supervision of the Marketing Director.
Reporting to Marketing & Communication Manager
Primary Responsibilities
The Graphic Designer cum Marketing Executive must assist other hotels within the Group if necessary.
Responsible for all the hotels art requirements and photo sessions for the promotion of the hotel image.
Marketing Excecutive:
Establish and maintain a relationship with Key local press and local media
Manage the online promotion for conference and catering and food and beverage activity at the hotel
Set- up, manage social media accounts and sharing sites as relevant to the hotels markets (Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Flickr etc) and develop social networks
Be fully conversant with the brand, its standards and its DNA (visual and written communication, product, service, distribution e.g. brand Packages)
Manage the hotel email database and e communication activity
Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding our Hotel
Recommend new alternatives or ideas to develop the Hotel’s online marketing strategies
Manage all marketing/promotional/sales collateral development/production both on and off line
Manage brand compliance for the hotel to grow the equity of the hotel and outlet brands and the brand equity across all channels
Proactively explore all online opportunities for the hotels including but not limited to; local business opportunities, city/regional tourism organizations
Manage a fully integrated communications calendar for the Hotel around events, food and beverage, public holidays, need periods
Report to appropriate parties negative comments and discussions
Ensure all visual and written communication (internal/external, offline/online) is fully aligned with the hotels positioning and brand
To identify opportunities to further expose the hotel and maximize revenue opportunities through sponsoring local sport/cultural/art events that are aligned with the hotel positioning and are sound in delivering a strong ROI
Drive the marketing and communication (internal and external) of the Hotels CSR commitment
Monitor various media for positive and negative comments and discussions about the Hotel (Tripadvisor, Blogs, Forums). Take part in conversations and answer comments as a mediator
Effectively manage the hotel’s content and images through conducting regular website audits
To identify complimentary Partnership opportunities to grow the hotel equity (always ensuring our own Loyalty and Subscription programs are protected)
Manage online advertising for the hotel (display banners, SEM/PPC etc)
Liaise with the regional Communications team to maximize communications exposure
Graphic Designer:
Technical responsibilities
Experience on PC graphics software.
To update designs for all hotel publications, promotional materials, and art requirements.
Assist in the preparation of Press Releases.
Control PR photo files.
Appreciate consistency of graphic style and typography.
Update photos of hotel facilities and services.
Handle all basic photography work required in the hotel.
Keep a file of reference materials related to the design of all hotel publications and promotional materials, both local and overseas.
Handles all photo taking for banquet functions and for special events for PR coverage.
Commercial responsibilities
Execute final artwork.
Have at least a working knowledge of and be able to type accurately in English as well as be aware of editorial style.
Conscientious, reliable and self- motivated and be able to fulfill demands with minimal supervision.
Prepare layout of all hotel publications well ahead of schedule for preparation to the Director of Public Relations.
Capable of conceptualizing and developing graphics.
Ensure close working relation not only within the Marketing department but also within all departments that would need art service.
